About

Aloha Mai Kakou!

My name is Kuhi, I am a Native Hawaiian Lei Maker. I was born and raised on the island of Oahu from a small town called Mililani.

I have a great passion and love for my Hawaiian Culture and the 'Aina since the age of 7 years old. I've had the privilege of being surrounded by amazing Makua, Kupuna, and Ohana who have helped to shape my Hawaiian values, culture and way of life through growing up in Hawaii Nei and the many experiences shared by my Ohana. I was able to become the Lei maker I am today because of all these experiences.

I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge about the Hawaiian Art of Lei Making, Native Hawaiian Plants, Hawaiian Culture, our 'Aina and its resources.

I love making lei, lei po'o and teaching workshops to educate people Kama'aina as well as Malahini to Hawaii and around the world. I have a passion to perpetuate My Hawaiian Culture, instilling knowledge of the Art of Lei Making in hopes of keeping Lei making alive for future generations to come as well as leave a legacy behind for my Ohana.

I am forever grateful for all my Kupuna before me who have paved a path for me as well as future keiki (children), haumana (students) and Ohana (family) to come.

I look forward to sharing my passion with you all to enjoy, learn, appreciate and love as well.

 Mahalo Nui Loa,

Kuhi
